I ran two slow auction leagues last year on ESPN (auction here) and they were a lot of fun, and continuing this year. Those leagues are full. I'm starting a 3rd league this year. $150 franchise fee, all returned to winners. To differentiate it from the other two, it will be daily lineups/transactions. Here are the settings so far (subject to change based on majority preference of owners):
Slow auction on couchmanagers, starting 3/12 or a little after
ESPN for the season
h2h categories OBP, R, RBI, SB, HR and QS, K, WHIP, ERA, SV+Holds
Entry fee $150
Prizes $800, $500, $300, $199 ($1 to pay for couchmanagers subscription)
Roster: c, 1b,3b, ci, 2b, ss, mi, 5of, ut, 9p (start 22) bench 5, dl 2
Daily transactions/lineup changes
1 division, 4 teams make playoffs (use ESPN's method to determine who gets in, who plays who)
Playoffs start week 22, 2 two-week cumulative rounds
Daily waivers - move to last after claim
Trades through 8/21 12pm, 1 day review, 4 votes against to veto
