Our auction just started and multiple teams are getting this message:

Error: Because of previous auctions or current open bids, you don't have enough money to bid

I'd need a little more info than this to figure out what the issue is. Are you not reserving $1 for each open spot left? There is an option to turn this off in the manager settings area, linked on the auction page.
